Two NSK Nakanishi iSpeed3 high speed brushless DC spindles(60,000rpm) have been fitted to the gang toolpost of a Citizen Cincom M32 sliding-head lathe based in the new CMSolutions centre for technology advancement located in Citizen Machinery UK, Bushey in Hertfordshire. The permanent display provides a demonstration of all the latest technologies and has been developed to provide a working display and produce solutions for clients and their manufacturing requirements. The high-speed spindles demonstrate an excellent solution where accuracy and precision in milling and drilling is required. Operating to a concentricity of 1 micron, the spindles can work for long periods at variable speeds and can provide the solution to the modern demands of manufacturing processes.
